This is a wonderful two-day class for both the beginner and the person who wishes to refresh their techniques. Here you will explore the amazing way dye flows on silk and learn to contain and manipulate that wonderful action in order to create brilliantly colored images. You will learn about the dyes, the resists and the silk. We will work with metallic resist that will contain the dyes as you learn to blend the colors to create a sense of dimension in your painting. By workshop end you will have a completed painting ready for framing and displaying on your walls.
